EDUCATION PROGRAM:
Recognizing the importance of education in the modern era as per
United Nations Millennium development Goal # 2, to Achieve Universal
Primary Education SEDA has active force in facilitating and
providing basic education in the rural area of NWFP over past 3
years. There has been significant improvement in areas such Mardan
due to the human resource and other expertise of SEDA in the
subject, because the main aim of SEDA is to provide quality
education to the poor segment of the society. SEDA Pakistan has also
expanded its operations in the war affected areas of SWAT & Dir and
has been a motivational force in reshaping educational
infrastructure with the help of its partners.

Non Formal Education
Non-formal education have played vital role in educating those who
have been ignored in Pakistan particularly in poor rural areas of
the country. Since 2009 SEDA NFE program also focusing on far
furlong areas of SWAT & Dir district of NWFP.
SEDA
PAKISTAN Education Program Achievements:
·
Establishment of 1 Primary & 2 Community Based Schools.
·
Enrolment of 500 children age 5-14 (60 % girls).
·
90% of children completed full year study in these schools.
·
Employment opportunity for 20 local community members particularly
70% are female staff.
·
Capacity Building of 50 local teachers.
·
Capacity Building of 30 Government teachers.
·
Formation of Parent Teachers Association (PTA) and Female Education
Support Groups (FESG) at district level.
