Membership:

SEDA PAKISTAN strength is the combined efforts and capacities of its members. The decisions are always consultative base in which Executive body members, Advisory Council, General Body members, staffs & networks views are always given preferences by the by the Board of Directors and approved by the Chairman.

Therefore SEDA PAKISTAN welcomes new partners, members and volunteers from every part of the world without race, religion and nationality.

SEDA PAKISTAN activities are funded through membership fees, volunteer donations, local and international grants and contributions. Donations are accepted form Private Sector.

Donations to SEDA PAKISTAN is tax exempted which has been approved by the Government of Pakistan.

Membership Subscription: SEDA PAKISTAN members pay membership subscription on regular basis which play an important role in the operational process of the organization.

Membership

 SEDA PAKISTAN has the following categories of membership which cater for both Pakistani Nationals and as well as Foreigners.

Founder Members: Founder members are the members who signed the Memorandum of Association and Article of SEDA PAKISTAN and are signatory to its registration with the Government of Pakistan.

The Board of Directors may elect from time to time distinguished scholars and persons from all over the world to become Patrons of SEDA PAKISTAN.

Life Members: Distinguished intellectuals and scholars may be elected by the Board of Directors as Life Members. SEDA PAKISTAN Life Members shall be a coveted honors and shall be conferred only such persons who distinctly stand out at the national or international level in the fields related to the Aims and Objectives of the organization.

Honorary Members: Individuals with outstanding performance in different fields recognized by at least some UN, EU & other national or International civil society organization with interest in the activities of SEDA PAKISTAN to contribute or participate in furthering the Aims and Objectives of the organization may be elected as honorary member by the Board of Director.

Volunteer Members: Individuals with interest in the activities of SEDA PAKISTAN and who can contribute or participate in furthering the Aims and Objectives of the organization may be elected as honorary member by the Board of Director.

Regular Members: Research Scholars, Specialist, Experts, Writers, Speakers, Thinkers, Veterans, Journalists, Serving or Retired Bureaucrats etc shall be eligible to apply for SEDA PAKISTAN membership, Board of Directors decision will be finial about regular member’s selection as per organization criteria. Regular members shall be required to pay membership fee as prescribed by the organization form time to time. In case of Serving Government officials from Pakistan a No Objection Certificate from their concern department/ organization is a pre-requisite for SEDA PAKISATN Membership approval. 

Associate Members: Individuals who are interested in the activities of SEDA PAKITAN but are not yet fully qualified to become regular members may be enrolled as Associate Members. Associate members shall be required to pay membership fee as prescribed by the organization form time to time.

Participatory Members: This category of members include scholars, professionals, journalists and experts etc, who actively participate and contribute to SEDA PAKISTAN research activities such as seminars, group discussions and symposia etc.

Institutional Members: Any Foundation, Trust, Institution, Organization, Agency, Authority, Corporation etc, which is interested in promoting aims and objectives of SEDA PAKISTAN and is desirous of becoming its member, may be given Institutional Membership approved by the Board of Directors. The subscription, exchange of facilities and other terms & conditions shall be decided, from time to time and on case to case basis by the Board of Directors.

Foreign Affiliates: This category of members includes foreign scholars, professionals, researchers and experts etc, who participate and contribute to SEDA research activities, vision, mission and partnership development in their country. However the Honorary Foreign Affiliates are exempted from the subscriptions. They in collaboration with SEDA PAKISTAN will promote the organizations objectives of Education, Peace, Social Development & cooperation in the region. These members can also give suggestions / proposals related to SEDA PAKISTAN research work.

Foreign Affiliates and institutional member’s employee/ nominees on official visit to Pakistan will be provided full cooperation and services in Pakistan; however their respective organizations must inform SEDA PAKISTAN Office 30 days in advance by email and post explaining their activities in Pakistan.
